Prior to joining RIISnet, Mark Polon served at the corporate level as Senior Executive Vice President for Prudential CRES a national commercial real estate franchise system and as Vice President of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate. Mark Polon, CCIM

Mark is a senior instructor for the CCIM education program delivering courses on real estate investment analysis. He is the recipient of the 1997, 1999, and 2000 People’s Choice Award, and the 1998 and 2005 CI 101 Instructor of the Year Award as granted
Mark is a graduate of UCLA where he majored in Political Science. He did his graduate work at the University of Massachusetts in Education and Psychology.

George Ansong, GREPA

Mr.  George Ansong is the consummate entrepreneur. His background is Business Start up, Real Estate Investment, Consulting, and Coaching.  He has managed businesses in the corporate environment and has also started businesses in the private sector. He has also consulted with businesses on strategy and tactics. He has also been a mentor/coach to a number of real estate investors over the years. He has also been involved in a number of business start-ups. He has also bought and sold a number of businesses over the years as an entrepreneur.

Instructional Background:
Mr.  Ansong is a former adjunct instructor in Real Estate Investment and Management at area colleges including Kennesaw State University Continuing Education Department. He also taught Business Management courses at area colleges, including Perimeter College and Chattahoochee Technical College. Mr. Ansong wrote all the instructional manuals as an adjunct instructor at the colleges. To date he has written about twelve Instructional manuals on Real Estate and Business courses.  He is also a passionate and seasoned speaker on real estate investment topics and business strategy.
Mr. Ansong attended Baruch M. College of the City University of New York with a degree in Finance and marketing. He also completed a two year management training certificate course in operation management with a very reputable company in the US where he managed a multi-million dollar facility.

Kasim Iddrisu, GREPA

Current Role:
Kasim, currently a Senior  Technician (Instructor) at Department of Estate Management under the Faculty of Built and Natural Environment, Kumasi Polytechnic,  is a graduate of Garden City University College (GCUC), an affiliate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi where he received a First Class Honors in Bachelor of Business Administration (Management option).  Before enrolling at GCUC, He had obtained a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management from Kumasi Polytechnic after his first and second cycle education. He has also successfully completed an online course in Fundamentals of Commercial Investment Brokerage from Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute, an affiliate of National Association of Realtors (NAR), US.

Professional Background:

Professionally, Kasim is a multitasking, confident and motivated graduate with some professional and academic work experience in estate/property management. He has very good understanding of issues relating to property/facilities management, real estate investment analysis, real estate marketing and management, real estate appraisal. He has deep-seated research interest in facilities management, real estate marketing and management, real estate investment analysis, real estate feasibility studies for development, real estate project management and urban affordable housing issues.
